Character Matters Miramichi focuses on heritage based entertainment in the Miramichi region. It is our goal to prepare and present memorable experiences, using original scripts and spotlighting emerging talent.
This type of presentation we believe is the future for New Brunswick's tourism industry. Our province holds a gold mine of fun and interesting stories waiting to be discovered by residents and visitors alike.
We fully research, write and perform our works with passion and respect. With the help of like-minded partners in the community, we offer an experience that is enjoyable and enriching.
For us, and our work, character really does matter.
Thomas Daley studied Acting at Vancouver Film School, and has worked to combine entertainment, tourism, and heritage, to create enriching experiences, in Vancouver and in Miramichi. He has spent considerable time in Europe and has gathered many stories in the process. He currently lives in Semiwagan Ridge, with his wife Klara.
Shawn McCarthy. A doctoral graduate of Western University, has lectured in History for the University of New Brunswick, has written (and self-published) three books, and has worn many hats in his life – both figuratively and literally. He lives in Newcastle, but his heart is in Nelson.
